This coffeepot was made over a longer period but this must be one of the earliest ones. Why? Because it shows an silver repair wich must have been very costly. Later years, it would not be worth it to add a silver part and have it marked as 830 (continental) silver. These teapots were for the rich and the same goes for such silver detailing.
Also note the spelling of Kjøbenhavn instead of Kopenhagen or Copenhagen. All signs of age. The pot seems in excellent shape and will be a great addition to any collection.
